Get Gutsy for GI cancer
This year the Gutsy Challenge is asking workplaces, like yours, to take a Gutsy Challenge. This is a workplace fundraiser which raises money for ground-breaking research to save, extend and improve the quality of life for people with gastro-intestinal (GI) cancer.
GI cancers include those of the oesophagus, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, small intestine, bowel and anus. GI cancers are the most common form of cancer, directly affecting more than 24,000 Australians each year and claiming a devastating 33 lives each day.
By signing up for the Gutsy Challenge, you can help us fund better treatments for GI cancers, and increase the survival rates for people diagnosed with them.
Take the Gutsy Challenge
Bring the team, or the department, together to raise funds for GI cancer research by organising an activity that you want to do. Have some fun and take the challenge –
- host a tasty morning tea or lunch
- participate in a fun run
- ride a bike or walk to work for a week
- create a sporting event
- hold an auction
- eat 2 fruit and 5 veg for a week
- give up a vice for a week
Anything brave will do! Whatever suits your workplace best.
