For more than 30 years, we have been improving treatments and survival rates for the 37,567 Australians diagnosed with a gastro–intestinal (GI) cancer every year. We develop and conduct multidisciplinary clinical trials which include health professionals, patients and community members with lived experience, and raises awareness and funds to support GI cancer clinical trials research.

Fundraising Coordinator

As Fundraising Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in supporting fundraising programs that help fuel this vital research. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Philanthropy, you’ll coordinate campaigns, supporter journeys, community fundraising initiatives, events and fundraising operations, ensuring supporters receive an outstanding experience at every touchpoint.

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised fundraising or marketing professional who enjoys bringing campaigns to life, building supporter relationships and making an impact through meaningful work.

In this key role, you will:

  • Coordinate community fundraising, peer-to-peer programs and supporter engagement activities.
  • Support the delivery of fundraising appeals and campaigns, managing timelines, approvals and campaign administration.
  • Assist with bequest, in-memory and trusts & foundations activities, including donor stewardship and communications.
  • Coordinate fundraising emails, digital content and online fundraising platforms.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, reporting and fundraising operations.
  • Deliver exceptional supporter care and contribute to a positive donor experience across all fundraising programs.
