We are the leading gastrointestinal oncology clinical trials group across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, bringing together a collaborative network of researchers, clinicians, community advocates and industry partners to deliver practice-changing research.

We design and deliver multicentre, investigator-led clinical trials and enable collaboration across institutions and borders.

Since 1991, we’ve conducted 92 research studies, giving more than 10,100 people access to promising new treatments, faster. The scope of these trials extends not only across 135 sites in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, but to more than 160 sites across Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Our research has made a lasting impact on how GI cancers are treated globally, with 200+ publications in peer-reviewed journals and 300+ presentations at international conferences. Practice-changing studies include CO.17, GAP, ICECREAM, DOCTOR, MAX, SCOT, INTEGRATE and TOPGEAR.
