Climb the second highest mountain in the famous seven summits, the majestic Aconcagua in Argentina!
Aconcagua (Ah-kon-CAR-gwah) is the highest mountain in the world outside the Himalayas, rising 1,000m above its neighbours and visible from the Pacific coast 100 kilometres away. This will be a challenging climb of 6,962 metres which will test you physically and mentally. Our porters will ensure you only need to climb with a day pack and we’ll have a great logistics team and guides.
Meet the team and set up your fundraising page here!
The team will be accompanied by Dr Michael Bonning who will ensure the health and wellbeing of the team. Dr Bonning accompanied the GI Cancer Institute team during the 2015 Kilimanjaro Gutsy Challenge. This will be a life-changing expedition, however, it is a trekking climb, suitable for people without any technical mountaineering experience; all you need is crampons – ropes, harnesses and rock climbing skills are not required.
