About the Idea Generation Workshop

Launched in 2019, the Idea Generation Workshop is a platform to elevate embryonic ideas for GI cancer research.

GI Cancer Trials members are encouraged to submit their ideas for the workshop. Each workshop features ideas that have been selected and invited for presentation, and is convened by two experts from different disciplines. Non-presenting participants may also attend the Workshop and are encouraged to offer constructive advice, as well as ways of improving the proposed ideas.

Ideas that are scientifically sound and feasible for further development will be supported through the Working Parties. Concept Development Groups are formed to support the investigators during this development phase.
