One of the busiest times of year at the AGITG is approaching. Preparations are underway for our Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held 21-23 August at Adelaide Convention Centre. A stellar line-up of invited faculty will discuss how GI cancer research is challenging the enigmatic nature of these mysterious cancers. You can now view the full meeting program on our website.
The DYNAMIC-Pancreas study has now opened to recruitment. This is the third DYNAMIC study run by the AGITG, all of which are investigating the potential of ‘liquid biopsies’, blood tests that detect the presence of circulating tumour DNA.
Preparations are well underway for this year’s Gutsy Challenge adventures – there are still limited spots available on these two beautiful week-long hikes. The Cape to Cape trek in Western Australia will take place in September, and the Southern Alps trek in New Zealand is happening in November.
Thank you for your continued support of the AGITG. I look forward to sharing future updates with you.
