Cissy recently joined the AGITG and GI Cancer Institute as Administration Co-ordinator
HOW DID YOU COME TO WORK IN OFFICE ADMINISTRATION?
I returned to work in 2018 after a 17-year break as a housewife. My previous roles were in office coordination and administration. My strength is multitasking, and I enjoy meeting deadlines.
BEFORE JOINING THE AGITG, WHAT WERE YOUR PREVIOUS ROLES?
I worked at the Hong Kong Australia Business Association as Executive Assistant, Chinese Cultural Centre as Office Administrator and my last job before AGITG was with Pierre Fabre, a French pharmaceutical company, as Office Coordinator.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE ROLE?
I lost a loved one in 2017 of cancer. I saw how cancer patients and their families suffer. I recognise AGITG’s work to carry out clinical trials to improve treatment and survival rates for GI cancer patients.
WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE?
In this role, I hope to become a trusted support worker for this worthy cause.
